Dumpster pad before and after video
What the property was dealing with
This commercial dumpster enclosure had become a serious cleanliness and sanitation problem. Several pressure washing companies had declined to quote the job or stopped partway through. Years of grease spills left close to half an inch of hardened black buildup on portions of the enclosure floor. The surface was slippery, messy, and hard to walk through without tracking grease outside.
Three dumpsters inside the enclosure carried significant organic buildup as well. Strong odors and heavy fly activity were present throughout the area. The property needed more than a standard pressure washing visit.
How Britebin approached the work
Our crew started at 6:00 in the morning. We treated the enclosure with commercial-grade degreasers, alkaline cleaners, and surfactants designed to break down heavy grease and organic residue. In the worst areas we mechanically removed and chipped away large sections of hardened grease before pressure washing began.
We used commercial surface cleaning equipment with water heated to nearly 200 degrees Fahrenheit to soften and lift remaining grease from the concrete. Throughout the job, wastewater, grease, and cleaning solution were recovered back into our truck instead of flowing toward the street or storm drains. Wastewater was disposed of according to local requirements.
Why this site was difficult
The biggest challenge was the amount of hardened grease in a tight, confined enclosure. We were working with commercial cleaning chemistry, very hot water, and significant steam in a limited space, so personal protective equipment and careful work practices were essential.
The location was also environmentally sensitive because of its proximity to Clear Creek. All wastewater, grease, and cleaning chemicals had to be fully contained and recovered so nothing could reach nearby storm drains or waterways.
Condition after service
Dumpsters were restored to a near like-new condition with grease, organic material, and other buildup removed from the interiors. The enclosure was cleaned down to the original gray concrete, with heavy black grease and residue removed from the floor and walls. The area was left clean, dry, and dramatically improved compared with the starting condition.
This is the kind of work Britebin is set up for: difficult grease and organic conditions, proper equipment, and environmental compliance so property owners get a strong result without runoff risk.
