Terms of Service
Britebin Website Terms of Service.
Public Terms of Service
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of BriteBin's website, online booking tools, customer portal, communications, and residential or commercial trash bin, recycling bin, dumpster, and related cleaning services (collectively, the "Services").
By visiting our website, submitting a form, signing up for service, approving a quote, or allowing BriteBin to perform service at your property, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or Services.
2. Privacy Policy
BriteBin's Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, protect, and disclose information provided through our website and related communications. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference and is available at https://britebin.com/privacy/ or in the footer of our website.
3. Services We Provide
BriteBin provides professional cleaning for residential trash and recycling bins and commercial containers, dumpsters, and related waste areas where available. Services may include washing, rinsing, deodorizing, and responsible handling of wash water as part of our cleaning process.
Cleaning results may vary based on the age and condition of the container, prior staining, sun exposure, embedded grime, paint, rust, pre-existing damage, and the type of waste previously stored in the container. BriteBin does not guarantee that all stains, odors, bacteria, mold, residue, or discoloration will be fully removed.
4. Scheduling and Route Availability
BriteBin is a route-based service. New residential sign-ups are typically placed on the next available route day and are often serviced the following morning, depending on location, route timing, weather, access, and operational availability.
Service windows are estimates rather than guaranteed appointment times. BriteBin may adjust service timing due to weather, traffic, equipment availability, route density, safety concerns, access restrictions, holidays, or other conditions outside our control.
For commercial accounts, service cadence, access requirements, container count, pad cleaning, and any custom scheduling needs may be confirmed through a quote or written service arrangement.
5. Customer Responsibilities Before Service
To help us complete service efficiently, customers agree to make the bins or containers available in the agreed service location by the start of the service window, provide accurate address and access information, and keep gates, locks, enclosures, loading areas, or other access points available when needed.
Customers are responsible for ensuring the bins or containers are safe to handle and do not contain hazardous materials, hot ashes, medical waste, needles, chemicals, wet paint, flammable items, dead animals, construction debris, human waste, or other unsafe or prohibited materials.
BriteBin may skip service, reschedule service, or charge an additional fee if bins are unavailable, unsafe to access, blocked, overfilled, excessively heavy, contaminated with prohibited materials, or located in an area that cannot be safely reached by our equipment.
6. If Trash Remains in the Bin
BriteBin understands that, in some cases, trash may remain in a bin when we arrive. If trash is present at the time of service, you authorize BriteBin to remove the trash as needed, place it in trash bags when practical, clean the bin, and return the trash to the bin after cleaning.
Customers remain responsible for the contents of their bins. BriteBin is not responsible for valuables, documents, personal items, hazardous materials, prohibited materials, or other items left in a bin. Excessive loose trash, heavy waste, unsafe waste, or non-standard cleanup may require rescheduling or additional charges.
7. Pricing, Payment, and Authorization to Charge
By signing up for service, approving a quote, or providing payment information, you authorize BriteBin and/or its third-party payment processor to charge your selected payment method for the Services you select, including your first cleaning, recurring service charges, additional-bin charges, commercial service charges, applicable taxes, and approved add-on services.
For residential service, the first cleaning may be charged at or shortly after completion of sign-up, depending on the booking flow and payment processor. Recurring plans renew according to the frequency selected by the customer unless canceled according to these Terms.
For commercial accounts, quoted pricing may depend on container count, frequency, access, site conditions, pad cleaning, additional services, and other property-specific needs. Written quotes or service confirmations may include additional terms that apply to that account.
8. Recurring Service Plans, Promotional Discounts, and Fair Use
Britebin recurring service plans are intended for ongoing service, not for customers to sign up for a recurring plan, receive one cleaning, and immediately cancel without reasonable cause.
If you receive a first-service promotional discount, you agree to participate in the service in good faith. If Britebin completes the first service as promised and to a satisfactory standard, the expectation is that you will continue with your selected service plan through at least your next scheduled cleaning. If the service is not completed to your satisfaction, please contact Britebin so we can review the issue and make it right in accordance with our re-clean and refund policy.
Britebin reserves the right to cancel, deactivate, remove, or block any customer account that appears to abuse promotional pricing, recurring service discounts, referral rewards, duplicate accounts, or other offers.
9. Referral Program
Britebin may offer referral promotions, rewards, discounts, or account credits from time to time. Referral program terms, reward amounts, eligibility, and payout methods may be changed, paused, or discontinued by Britebin at any time.
Britebin reserves the right to convert referral payouts to account credits for existing customers at any time. Referral rewards may not be used for self-referrals, duplicate accounts, fake accounts, resale, spam, paid referral schemes, or any other attempt to manipulate or abuse the referral program.
Any misuse, arbitrage, fraud, or abuse of the referral program is prohibited and may result in removal from the program, cancellation of referral rewards, account deactivation, removal from the site, or further action where appropriate.
10. Service Quality, Re-Clean, and Refund Policy
BriteBin wants every customer to be satisfied with the service. If you believe a service was not completed to a satisfactory standard, please contact our office as soon as possible and, when practical, include photos of the concern.
For valid service-quality concerns, BriteBin will make reasonable efforts to dispatch a truck the same day, when route availability and safety allow, or on the next available service window to re-clean or correct the issue.
If BriteBin is unable to make the service right after a reasonable opportunity to correct the issue, you may request a refund for the affected service. Refunds are generally limited to the amount paid for the specific service at issue and do not include unrelated costs, damages, missed pickup issues, or fees charged by third parties.
Refunds may not be available for issues caused by unavailable bins, blocked access, prohibited materials, unsafe conditions, customer-provided access errors, severe pre-existing staining, container damage, or conditions outside BriteBin's reasonable control.
11. Weather, Safety, and Operational Delays
BriteBin may delay, reschedule, or skip service when weather, road conditions, temperature, equipment limitations, site conditions, water handling restrictions, or other safety concerns make service impractical or unsafe.
If service is delayed or rescheduled, BriteBin will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer and place the service on the next practical route window.
12. Communications and Text Messages
By submitting your contact information, signing up for service, or requesting a quote, you agree that BriteBin may contact you by phone, email, text message, or other electronic communication regarding your request, service reminders, route updates, billing, customer support, account updates, and related service matters.
If you opt in to marketing text messages, message frequency may vary and message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to unsubscribe from future marketing text messages. Service-related or transactional messages may still be sent where permitted by law and necessary to provide the Services.
13. Commercial Accounts and Property Access
Commercial service may be subject to a separate quote, written confirmation, or service arrangement. Customer is responsible for providing accurate information about container count, container type, enclosure access, gate codes, parking, loading areas, service restrictions, preferred cadence, and any property rules that may affect service.
BriteBin may adjust pricing, scheduling, or service scope if site conditions differ materially from the information provided during quoting or sign-up.
14. Damage, Container Condition, and Limitations
BriteBin will use reasonable care while performing service. However, customers understand that trash bins, recycling bins, dumpsters, lids, wheels, hinges, decals, labels, and enclosures may have pre-existing wear, cracks, brittleness, sun damage, rust, structural weakness, or other conditions.
BriteBin is not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear and tear, manufacturer defects, brittle or deteriorated plastic, faded labels, rust, staining, or damage caused by conditions outside our reasonable control. If BriteBin causes direct damage through negligence, our responsibility is limited to the lesser of the cost to repair the affected item, replacement value of a comparable used item, or the amount permitted by applicable law.
15. Health and Sanitation Disclaimer
BriteBin provides cleaning services intended to improve the cleanliness, odor, and condition of bins and containers. The Services are not a medical, public-health, pest-control, mold-remediation, or hazardous-material service.
BriteBin does not guarantee a sterile environment, complete elimination of bacteria, viruses, allergens, pests, mold, or odors, or prevention of future contamination after service is completed.
16. Photos and Service Records
BriteBin may take before-and-after photos or service photos for quality control, marketing material, service documentation, customer support, training, route verification, or billing records.
BriteBin will not intentionally publish a customer's name, address, license plate, or other identifying details in marketing materials without permission. Non-identifying photos of bins, dumpsters, or cleaning results may be used for business purposes unless the customer requests otherwise.
17. Third-Party Tools and Links
BriteBin may use third-party tools, including booking software, payment processors, analytics tools, map tools, communication platforms, or customer portals. Your use of those tools may also be subject to the applicable third party's terms and privacy practices.
BriteBin is not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, outages, payment processor errors, or external links that are not controlled by BriteBin.
18. Website Use
You agree not to misuse the website, submit false or misleading information, interfere with website functionality, attempt unauthorized access, or use the website or Services for unlawful purposes.
All website content, branding, logos, text, images, service descriptions, and other materials are owned by or licensed to BriteBin and may not be copied, modified, or used without permission except as allowed by law.
19. Changes to These Terms
BriteBin may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date will be posted at the top of the Terms. Continued use of the website or Services after updated Terms are posted means you accept the updated Terms, unless otherwise required by law.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute related to the website or Services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, unless another venue is required by applicable law.
